SHENYANG, CHINA – June 30, 2023 – Shenyang Baoruitong Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. (BRT) has won an equipment procurement project for a newly built testing base of a construction engineering testing center in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, with a contract value of approximately CNY 300,000. BRT is the awarded supplier named in the bid result.
The new base is a standardized testing laboratory representing a major capacity expansion for the center, adding floor space and laboratory rooms dedicated to construction materials and engineering component testing.
Multi-Category Equipment for a New Laboratory
The supply package for this project includes curtain wall testing equipment, a universal tensile testing machine and an energy dispersive spectrometer, among other categories of testing instruments. Together these instruments complete the hardware layout of the new laboratory and support multiple testing services: mechanical property testing of building materials, curtain wall performance testing and material composition analysis.
The combination is a practical one for a construction materials laboratory: the universal testing machine covers tensile, compressive and flexural strength testing of steel, concrete and other specimens; the spectrometer identifies the composition of metals and alloys arriving on site; and the curtain wall line evaluates the performance of complete facade assemblies. Covering these disciplines in one laboratory allows the center to serve contractors and supervision authorities from a single location.
The project is an important step in the base’s qualification expansion, because every testing service the center intends to offer must be backed by qualified instruments installed and calibrated before the accreditation assessment.
For a new base, the equipment plan is usually drafted alongside the laboratory layout: load-bearing requirements, power supply, exhaust ducting and environmental control all depend on which instruments will occupy each room. Early coordination between the equipment supplier and the construction team avoids rework such as reinforced foundations, relocated duct openings or insufficient power capacity — issues that are costly to fix after commissioning begins.

New laboratory construction places high demands on equipment entry timing, installation layout and overall system coordination.
