SHENYANG, CHINA – December 27, 2024 – Shenyang Baoruitong Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. (BRT) has successfully won a building curtain wall physical performance testing equipment procurement project of a long-established construction engineering quality testing station in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, with a contract value of approximately CNY 360,000. The bid result has been publicly announced.
The customer is a well-established, authoritative construction testing organization in the Nantong region, undertaking a large volume of building and curtain wall acceptance testing tasks for regional projects.
Upgrading an Existing Laboratory to a Higher Automation Level
This procurement covers a complete set of curtain wall four-performance expansion testing equipment, including the pressure control system, the high-precision data acquisition system and standardized test fixture assemblies. The package is complemented by on-site installation, metrological calibration and hands-on training for operating personnel. The equipment will upgrade the hardware of the station’s existing curtain wall testing laboratory and raise its automation level and measurement accuracy.
The expansion comes at the right time for the regional market. As curtain wall engineering projects continue to increase across the Yangtze River Delta, testing institutions face higher requirements on equipment stability, testing throughput and after-sales response speed. BRT’s curtain wall testing equipment supports long-duration continuous testing and automatic report generation and storage, matching the high-frequency testing business of third-party laboratories.
Automation also changes the daily work of laboratory staff. With computer-controlled pressurization sequences, automatic leak-rate calculation and structured report output, technicians spend their time on specimen preparation and result review instead of manual gauge reading, which reduces human error and makes results easier to defend during accreditation assessments.
The upgrade also prepares the station for future scope growth. The pressure control and acquisition platform installed for the four-performance line can be extended to related building envelope tests, so the laboratory does not have to replace its control infrastructure each time a new testing service is added — an approach that lowers the total cost of laboratory ownership over time.
BRT will schedule production scientifically, deliver the equipment with assured quality and quantity, and dispatch senior engineers to Nantong for on-site implementation, commissioning and training, so that the upgraded laboratory can be put into service as soon as possible.
